The Fun, The Fabulous, The Activities at the SEMO District Fair

Fair Fun is more than the rides, the Grandstand, and the food.  You can find stunning events happening daily.  

• Saturday Night Karaoke in the Activities Tent beginning at 5:00 pm on Saturday 9/8.
• Sunday morning Church Service at the Fairgrounds Grandstand with Cape Cowboy Church, join them Sunday 9/9 at 9 am for church at the Fair. 
• Poultry and Rabbit Dress- up Contest and Children’s Rooster Crowing Contest in the 4-H Sheep tent show ring on Sunday 9/9 at 1pm.
• SEMO Fair Pagent in the Activities Tent beginning at 3:00pm on Sunday 9/9.
• Mitchell’s Marionettes daily on the North Fairgrounds
• Woody’s Menagerie & Wildlife Exposition daily at the South Fairgrounds.
• Look A Like Contest, Mother/Daughter on Tuesday at 5:30 and Father/Son at 5:30 on Wednesday. 
• Kickin Country Music Band in the Activities Tent Thursday 9/13 starting at 6pm
• Bill Hulvey & Sidestreet Band in the Activities Tent starting at 5pm Friday Night 9/14.   
• Cross Cut Saw Contest at 6:30 pm on Friday 9/14 at the Antique Tractor Display. 
• Robotics Demonstration in the Activities Ten beginning at 10am on Saturday 9/15.  

Also, introducing this year is the 2012 Trivia Contest, for teams between 6 and 8 people. No exceptions.
A team member must register at the fair office before Monday, Sept 10th BEFORE 6pm. The contest will start at exactly 7pm, so you must be signed in no later than 6:30pm at the Activity Tent, Monday September 10th.
