The Community Counseling Center of Cape Girardeau has decided to “brew” some fun up with their FIRST Annual Craft Beer Festival.
The festival is to be held at the Cape Girardeau Arena Park on Saturday October 6, 2012 12pm to 4pm with an advance admission of $30.00 and an at the gate admission of $35.00. Admission includes tastings from over 20 microbreweries, a tasting glass, home-brewing demonstrations, live music by a German Band led by Pat Schwent, hourly drawings, and good ol’ fun in Cape Girardeau, MO.
Local breweries John A. Huber Brewing, Mother’s Brewing Company, Schlafly Brewing CO and many more will be on site brewing up some fun and good drinks.
All precedes from this event goes to The Community Counseling Center Foundation. The Community Counseling Center Foundation is a non-for-profit provider of mental health care, serving Cape Girardeau, Madison, Ste. Genevieve, and Perry Counties in Missouri. The foundation provides services including crisis intervention, psychiatric services, and outpatient counseling services, assist in housing needs, disease management, and much more all at an affordable cost for the patient.
Community Counseling Center serves approximately 6,000 persons per year, and provides nearly 150,000 hours of direct face to face and intervention. Over 200 dedicated professional and support staff provides services from eleven different locations.
Tickets for this fun and “Crafty Brewed” event are available at Bluff City Beer Company, Dirt Cheap in Cape Girardeau, John Huber Home Brew Supply in Fruitland, Kidd’s Gas Stops, Montgomery Bank in Jackson & Cape Girardeau, Primo Vino, P-Mac Music, and tickets can be purchased at the gate.
